WAKE UP!!

 Nike says “Just do it”, Pepsi says “Live for now.” The famous evangelist, Billy Graham was once asked what his greatest surprise in life was and he answered, “The brevity of life.” One thing is for sure, whether you are a believer or an agnostic, death is inevitable. But this short piece is for the believer - the Christian.

Luke 12:48 says “…From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded.” I believe that 'Much' includes our time, our energy, our money, our gift, our anointing… our very being!

Dear Christian, what have you been doing with your time? Is it occupied with self-indulgence, tucked in your pajamas twenty-four seven?

‼️ You are called to immerse in scripture and grow in the likness of Christ.

Dear Christian, what have you been doing with your hands? Have they grown callous, clenched so deep in stinginess and unrighteous anger?

‼️ You are called to raise the banner of love - stretch in sowing generosity.

Dear Christian, what have you been doing with your energy? Have you labored in vain on ephemeral things ?

‼️ You are called to summon up all your willpower and go fishing… fishing for lost souls day, noon and night.

Dear Christian, what have you been doing with your anointing? Have you sold the gift of grace for a popularity contest?

‼️ You are called to serve the parts of the body - the church of Christ.

If you're not fired up yet, I leave you with a script from a Christian relic;

Only one life,

‘Twill soon be past

Only what’s done

For Christ will last.
